During this week’s state of the state message, Andrew Cuomo stuck to his campaign mantra of less government spending. A property tax cap and no new taxes. Howie Hawkins says those ideas have been recycled by mainstream politicians for years, and he insists they don’t work.

Hawkins is state Green Party chairman and former gubernatorial candidate Howie Hawkins. He joined Liz Benjamin from Syracuse Friday.
