The public is invited to attend a two-hour debate between three New York gubernatorial candidates in Henrietta. The debate, moderated by Dr. Robert and Cynthia Goldstein, will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 22 at the Henrietta Town Hall at 475 Calkins Road.
Warren Redlich of the Libertarian Party, Howie Hawkins of the Green Party and Kristin Davis of the Anti-Prohibition Party will answer questions from the moderators and the public.
Davis is running on a platform advocating the legalization of prostitution, marijuana, same-sex marriage and the expansion of firearms rights.
Redlich ran for United States Congress as a Republican in his Albany district in both 2004 and 2006. He currently practices law in Albany, specializing in criminal defense and personal injury.
Hawkins has been active in the Green Party since its founding in 1984. Employed by UPS and a member of the Teamsters Union, he was the Green Party candidate for the U.S. Senate in 2006.
