The first of two hydrofracking hearings being held today is underway in Binghamton. The meetings are drawing thousands of people to the Southern Tier to comment on the issue. Our Janelle Burrell reports from the Broome County Forum where she had a chance to speak with the Green Party’s gubernatorial candidate Howie Hawkins who is in favor of a statewide ban on hydrofracking.
